The photograph is the end result of a journey. What you see and scroll past in a matter of seconds, is the culmination of hours of planning, flying, driving, hiking, composing, and editing. It’s getting up early or staying up late, sometimes it’s freezing, sometimes you’re sweating, and sometimes it’s all of the above in one excursion. None of that matters to me. The danger that comes with sitting on the cliff of a volcano, climbing a glacier, or hiking in the middle of the night has never stopped me from chasing the perfect shot. Here are a few of my favorites… from the edge.
